Psychotherapy Services
Today's world can be an overwhelming and stressful place. However, the very things that challenge us the most, hold our greatest opportunities for love, connection and joy. I can help you to identify the places where you feel stuck, figure out what you want your life to look like, and help you create a road map to get there.
Welcome To My Practice!
I have been a practicing therapist for over 24 years. I am good at holding space and listening. I will guide you so that you can make the changes you want to see in your life. I have master's degrees in both Clinical Psychology and Physiology. I worked at UCSF for 13 years in the field of neuropsychology. My practice weaves together this experience as well as that from over 35 years of training in Buddhist Psychology to help you live your best life.
Our Services
Individuals
Individual therapy can help you work thoughts and emotions, so that you are not overtaken by them. You can develop a deeper understanding of yourself and what limits you. My work helps you transform long-standing patterns and unhealthy behaviors. I can help you develop a more harmonious relationship with yourself and those around you.
Children & Teens
I use a variety of tools to work with young children, age 7 and older. I use play therapy, games, art and talking. I can help your child deal with anxiety, depression, suicidality, peer relationships, gender identity, sexual orientation and academics.
Parenting Support
I provide guidance on how to effectively communicate with your child, understand what is driving their behaviors, and the most effective ways of responding to difficult behaviors.
Family Therapy
I help families learn how to listen and communicate so that they can live in harmony. I can help you decipher the dynamics driving unhealthy behaviors and learn how to change them.
Couple's Counseling
In couples therapy, you will learn how to communicate what you feel and need in a way that motivates the other person to help you, or at least doesn't make things worse. I will help you listen so your partner feels understood and cared for.
